What’s New at MKDRS?

In an effort to keep our website more up to date, we wanted to share with you the latest happenings at MKDRS. We hope that you will consider joining us soon, and please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions!

  • Since COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, we are back to more frequent in-person services in the shul building. We have found, however, that during the dark winter months, many members prefer Friday evening services on Zoom, so we have continued with those. Beginning in the spring, all services will be back in the building.
  • Our cheder is going strong, meeting twice a month, with an enthusiastic group of active children!
  • We maintain a full roster of adult education events, and since we are all eager to get together, we are currently launching a new social program.
  • A group from MKDRS recently traveled to the Czech Republic to take our Czech Torah Scroll back to its hometown of Pacov for special events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the deportation of Jews from their communities. You can read about their trip here.

We are working on a website update that will have more current information, so please stay tuned!
